| Directions: | Heat oil in med. saucepan on med-low. Add shallots and cook, stirring occasionally until tender 5-6min. Add wine and simmer until reduced to 1/2cup another 5-6 min.
Add heavy cream and cheeses. Cook, whisking, until cheese has melted and mix is smooth (making sure not to let it stick and scorch).Increase heat to med-hi and cook until steaming and pourable 3-4 min. Stir in nutmeg and pepper.
Transfer mix to fondue pot. |
